Our client is looking for a Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust data pipelines, efficient storage structures, and materialized views using modern analytical technologies.
- Develop data exchange endpoints for internal and external users.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver integrated, reusable solutions.
- Contribute to data governance initiatives, including data lineage, quality, modeling, and glossary management.
- Support DevOps practices by participating in testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Work within Agile product teams, contributing to the continuous improvement of data products and services.
- Promote a transversal data perspective, ensuring coherence and reuse across the enterprise.
- Share knowledge and ideas across teams to drive product success.
What You Will Not Do
- Operate from an isolated technical perspective (“Ivory Tower”).
- Make unilateral business decisions.
- Deliver purely technical solutions without product alignment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar data engineering role.
- Proficiency with SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services, including:
- Azure Databricks
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Functions
- Azure Stream/Log Analytics
- Azure DevOps
- Strong Python skills in a Databricks environment.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Fluent in English (mandatory); proficiency in German, French, or Dutch is a plus.
- Open to learning and working with technologies such as Redis, RabbitMQ, Neo4j, Apache Arrow, etc.
