Mission Scope
The role involves supporting applications in Asset Management and Market & Adequacy (CRM) domains through:
- Test planning and execution
- Test automation
- Defect tracking and quality assurance
Key Responsibilities
1. Test Specification (30%)
- Develop test plans and scenarios based on:
- Documentation
- Functional requirements
- Acceptance criteria from User Stories
- Risk assessments
- Types of tests:
- Functional
- Non-functional (performance, security, data quality)
- Integration
- Non-regression
- All documentation must be in English, accessible to a broad European audience.
2. Test Data Preparation
- Select or create relevant test data prior to execution.
3. Test Execution & Defect Follow-up (30%)
- Execute test scenarios and document results with:
- Logs
- Screenshots
- Track and report defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Update test documentation with outcomes.
- Reproduce and analyze issues found in acceptance or production environments.
- Provide the “Go” for deployment from test to acceptance environments.
4. Test Automation (30%)
- Identify test cases for automation.
- Implement and maintain automated test suites.
- Execute automated tests regularly.
5. Test Reporting (10%)
- Report on test progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate with developers and project leads to ensure quality standards are met.
Work Context
- Supervision: Reports to the IT Application Manager (ITAM).
- Work regime: Full-time
- Location: Brussels + Remote (up to 3 days/week)
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Experience in:
- Writing test plans, designs, and scenarios
- Test automation or scripting (e.g., Python or pseudo code)
- Basic knowledge of:
- Databases (SQL, NoSQL)
- IT concepts: APIs, Web Services, Frontend/Backend, Protocols
- Familiarity with:
- Agile/Scrum methodologies
- RobotFramework (asset)
- RabbitMQ (major plus)
- DevOps ticketing tools (plus)
- Security testing (plus)
Languages
- English: Required (working and documentation language)
- French and/or Dutch: Preferred
