Our client is looking for an Implementation Manager.
The Grid Development (GD) department is navigating a period of significant transformation due to:
- A rapidly evolving energy landscape
- Shifting legislation and methodologies
- Accelerated electrification across society
To address these challenges, the department is seeking an Implementation Manager to lead its Centre of Excellence and drive strategic and operational improvements.
Role Overview
The Implementation Manager will:
- Lead the Centre of Excellence within the GD department
- Oversee the implementation and daily follow-up of the strategic roadmap
- Act as a catalyst for continuous improvement
- Collaborate closely with Program Management Officers and ensure cross-departmental alignment
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Execution: Support the Core Team in defining, tracking, and implementing strategic initiatives.
- Grid Study Coordination: Facilitate planning and validation processes, ensuring alignment with grid developers and study teams; present prioritized plans to management.
- Resource Planning: Coordinate resource allocation across GD teams to ensure effective and prioritized work planning.
- Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to report key departmental activities to management.
- Study Validation: Participate in grid study validations, ensuring topics are well-prepared for decision-making.
- Document Management: Design and implement a new document management system aligned with corporate policies.
- Continuous Improvement: Collect feedback, organize brainstorming sessions, and manage improvement initiatives.
- Operational Excellence Hub: Establish central guidelines, tools, and processes to promote best practices.
- Project Implementation: Lead specific projects from concept to execution, ensuring sustainability post-implementation.
Education & Experience
- Master’s degree in Engineering (civil, commercial, etc.), Economics, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience, with familiarity in project management methodologies
Skills & Competencies
- Strong command of English; fluent in French or Dutch with good understanding of the other
- Basic understanding of the energy sector and GD-related activities
