Our client is looking for a Test Coordinator.
To support major programs such as System Operation Excellence and EU Balancing, the organization is undergoing significant IT system refactoring. This transformation has created a need to reinforce product teams and enhance collaboration across domains. A Test Coordinator is sought to strengthen the Ancillary Services (AS) and Market domains.
Role Overview
The Test Coordinator will:
- Work closely with the IT Program Coordinator and various product owners
- Lead and coordinate testing activities across multiple product teams
- Ensure alignment with internal procedures, policies, and governance
- Support the delivery of high-quality, reliable systems through rigorous testing practices
Key Responsibilities
- Program Test Coordination: Oversee daily test activities across the program
- Test Strategy Development: Define and monitor the global test strategy with support from the Centre of Excellence (CoE) IT Testing
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure product teams’ test activities comply with internal standards
- Testing Oversight: Coordinate functional, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT/E2E)
- Interface Validation: Ensure all system interfaces and specifications are tested before E2E testing
- Issue Tracking: Create and update Problem Reports and Resolutions (PRRs); communicate regularly with project managers
- Documentation Review: Evaluate test plans and related documents; provide feedback to stakeholders
- Technique Identification: Recommend efficient test techniques and solutions
- CoE Collaboration: Align with CoE IT Testing on best practices
- Team Coaching: Guide product teams in testing to ensure mission success
Candidate Profile
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Test Coordinator
- Strong knowledge of test methodologies and practices
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and follow-up skills
- Effective communicator with IT teams on technical and design topics
- Organized and responsible with a strong sense of ownership
- Proficient in ALM tools
Technical Expertise
- Familiarity with test automation (RobotFramework preferred)
- Understanding of web services, REST APIs, XML, and JSON
- Basic knowledge of .NET and SQL
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Capable of developing test strategies, plans, cases, reports, scripts, and automation
Language Requirements
- Proficient in English (primary language for documentation and communication)
- Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus
