Mission Objective
Supervise and guide the transition from SAP BW Classic to SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere. Design modern and scalable data architectures aligned with SAP’s cloud ecosystem.
Main Responsibilities
Migration Analysis & Planning

Assess the current SAP BW environment (data flows, cubes, DSOs, and other objects)

Identify elements to migrate, transform, or redefine for BW/4HANA and Datasphere
-
Define a realistic migration roadmap aligned with business goals
Architecture Design
-
Design the SAP BW/4HANA architecture to meet current and future needs
-
Integrate SAP Datasphere to enable real-time analytics, hybrid data integration (on-premise & cloud), and advanced use cases

Ensure compatibility with third-party systems (databases, BI solutions, etc.)
Technical Migration & Implementation

Support the project team in converting classic SAP BW objects into optimized BW/4HANA equivalents

Configure SAP Datasphere: create spaces, connections, and data models

Optimize system performance using in-memory data management (SAP HANA)
Collaboration & Training
-
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment

Train teams on best practices for BW/4HANA and Datasphere usage and development
Optimization & Innovation
-
Apply SAP innovations in data analytics (AI, machine learning, multi-cloud integration)

Identify opportunities to improve data governance and security
Technical Skills (All Mandatory)

SAP BW/4HANA: Experience in modeling and migrating BW objects (0–2 years)
-
SAP HANA: In-depth knowledge of in-memory functionalities (0–2 years)
-
SAP Datasphere: Experience in designing and managing data spaces and models (0–2 years)
-
SAP Datasphere: Integration with SAP and non-SAP systems (0–2 years)

Related Tools: SAP BTP, SAP BPC, and ETL/data integration tools (0–2 years)

Languages & Architecture: SQL, ABAP, or Python (for extensions); understanding of hybrid architectures (on-premise & cloud) (0–2 years)

Languages: Full professional proficiency in French and/or Dutch (C2); intermediate level in English (B1)
