Job Description
For various projects within the Signalling Design Platform cell, ICT is looking for an expert Java architect who can also act as a Scrum Master when needed and develop in Java and occasionally in Angular.
This architect will design microservices application architectures within an Agile team, using an innovative and cybersecurity-conscious approach. Proactive and autonomous work on challenging projects is a key part of the role.
The architect will contribute to the business goals of the projects and must have a user-centric view, as they will work closely with business teams. They must also be able to explain their approach to developers across multiple teams.
The ideal candidate is an active architect in an Agile/Scrum team, proactive and autonomous, with a strong business interest, user vision, and the ability to clearly communicate their vision to colleagues.
Technical Skills (Mandatory)
- French comprehension (A2: basic knowledge)
- English (C1: professional level)
- Dutch (C2: full and nuanced proficiency)
- Java (min. 10 years)
- Java 21 (at least some experience)
- Relational databases (MySQL and/or MariaDB and/or Oracle) (min. 5 years)
- SpringBoot and SpringData (min. 5 years)
- JPA, Hibernate (min. 5 years)
- Unit testing (JUnit and/or Mockito), TDD, and load testing (min. 5 years)
- OpenShift and Docker and/or Podman (at least some experience)
- Microservices architecture and web services (REST API, JSON, etc.) (min. 5 years)
- Scrum Master experience (at least some experience)
- Liquibase and/or Flyway (min. 2 years)
- Selenium (at least some experience)
- Maven (min. 10 years)
- Design Patterns (knowledge required)
- Angular 2+ (min. 2 years)
- Git, GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube (min. 5 years)
- Artifactory (min. 2 years)
- Kibana and Kafka (min. 2 years)
- Knowledge of EN50.128 standard (required)
