Our client is looking for a NDT Application Specialist (GIS)
Description/Role:
We are seeking a Medior Analyst to join the “Network Design Tooling” squad, part of the Product Journey Tribe. This role is central to the Marlin project, which supports the Physical Network Inventory and the Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) rollout.
The analyst will play a key role in bridging business needs with technical solutions, working across multiple domains including fiber, coax, reporting, and field measurements.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and interpreting business requirements, identifying underlying needs, and translating them into functional specifications. This requires a strong ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, especially within Wyre, where technical and business requirements often overlap and evolve rapidly.
You will be expected to maintain a helicopter view, connecting dots across different domains and ensuring that solutions are both technically sound and aligned with business goals. The role demands someone who is not afraid to challenge assumptions, ask critical questions, and clarify ambiguous requirements. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external vendors (e.g., Merkator), and must be comfortable operating in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
This is a hands-on, dynamic position where your ability to combine technical affinity, business insight, and strong communication skills will be key to success.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications
- Work across domains: fiber, coax, FTTH, reporting, and field measurements
- Collaborate with stakeholders, Wyre, and vendor Merkator
- Navigate complex technical environments and requirements
- Maintain a helicopter view to connect cross-domain dependencies
- Document processes and models using tools like Jira, Confluence, UML, BPMN
- Participate in agile ceremonies and refinement sessions
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent through experience
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar business analyst role
- Experience in technical/engineering environments is a must
Must have skills:
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
- Experience with business analysis modeling (UML, BPMN, ERD)
- Affinity with information management and functional design
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong asset
- Pragmatic, proactive, and a team player
- Stress-resistant and assertive in stakeholder interactions
- Comfortable working in highly technical environments; not afraid of technical jargon
- Demonstrates the confidence to ask for clarification when requirements or discussions are ambiguous, ensuring full understanding before moving forward
Nice to have skills:
- Experience with GIS tools (preferably ArcGIS Pro)
- Knowledge of fiber, coax, FTTH, or telecom environments
- Experience with Snowflake or other data warehouse solutions
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Gliffy
Required languages:
English (mandatory), Dutch (added value but strongly preferred due to stakeholder interactions)
