Our client is looking for a Functional Tester.
A prominent national organization supporting over 1,100 professional offices and 8,000 employees with legal, IT, and management services. Its internal ICT division develops innovative, user-centric software solutions that drive digital transformation across various domains, including real estate, family, and enterprise law.
As a Senior Functional Tester, you are responsible for ensuring that developed software meets both technical and functional requirements. You will collaborate closely with analysts, developers, and engineers to validate solutions, support end-user acceptance testing, and contribute to continuous quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Define test strategies and review business and functional requirements
- Create and execute test cases, scenarios, and plans
- Perform manual UI testing and automated API testing
- Track defects, report issues, and document test results
- Automate test cases using appropriate tools based on the technology stack
- Support project teams with test effort estimations and planning
- Contribute to process improvements and quality assurance practices
Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing (manual and automated)
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (ISTQB certification is a plus)
- Experience with Java services, REST APIs, XML, XSD, WSDL
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Xray, ReadyAPI (Katalon or Selenium is a plus)
- Experience working in Agile environments
Soft Skills
- Fluent in Dutch/English or French/English, with good understanding of the third language

Work Environment
- Hybrid work model: 40% in-office (Monday is fixed, plus Wednesday or Friday), 60% remote
