Our client is looking for a Senior Functional Analyst SAP FI
Task Description:
- The SAP FI (AR, AP, New GL, AA, Closing Cockpit, BPC Consolidation), VIM, and Ariba applications are supported by managing incidents reported by end users: analyzing problems, proposing and implementing solutions, and setting priorities in line with business needs.
- Gathering and understanding the functional requirements set by our internal client, the Finance & Business Administration department.
- Configuring SAP so that the system operates according to detailed project specifications and configuration requirements, and in accordance with internal standards.
- Writing technical specifications as input for the SAP developer.
- Writing test scenarios.
- Executing unit and integration tests.
- Supporting the business during acceptance testing.
- Writing and maintaining configuration documentation, user manuals, and training materials.
- Providing support (resolving tickets, field support, delivering training, etc.).
- Identifying configuration issues and possible solutions.
- You will learn the underlying business processes within the company in order to master them, support users in implementing these processes, and contribute to further process optimization.
- You will regularly inform your team lead about the progress of your work.
Technical Skills:
- Holder of a master’s degree or equivalent experience** (level: n/a)
- Professional experience as a SAP Finance consultant** (L5: minimum 15 years of experience)
- Professional experience in configuring VIM** (including: workflow, approval hierarchies, and integration with SAP FI) (L4: minimum 10 years of experience)
- Professional experience with integration and configuration of ARIBA SLP (Supplier Lifecycle and Performance)** (L2: minimum 2 years of experience)
- Experience with BP on S/4HANA** (L2: minimum 2 years of experience)
- Professional experience with integration and configuration of ARIBA Network Automation** (L2: minimum 2 years of experience)
- Knowledge of Belgian legislation regarding e-invoicing (Peppol)** (L1: minimum basic experience)
- Fluent in Dutch or French (one of the two national languages)** (C1: professional level)
- Strong experience and knowledge of financial processes and the modules used in SAP Finance, as well as knowledge of the FI/CO modules** (L3: minimum 5 years of experience)
- Very good knowledge of Belgian accounting standards (IFRS, BGAAP, ARS)** (L4: minimum 10 years of experience)
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA** (L1: minimum basic experience)
- Experience with at least one S/4HANA migration** (L1: minimum basic experience)
- In addition to fluent knowledge of either Dutch or French, you also have a good command of the other language (French or Dutch)** (B1: intermediate level)
- You speak and write fluent technical English** (B1: intermediate level)
