Role Context
The network team is responsible for the setup, security, and operations of networks used across industrial and office environments.
The team works with a wide range of tools and technologies and is active in Belgium, France, the UK, Germany, and Switzerland.
Projects include:
- Connectivity setup in new data centers
- Securing and connecting to cloud environments
- WAN network modernization
- Supporting functional evolutions requested by application teams
Job Description
- Operate within a team supporting 24/7 business activities
- Work in both IT and OT environments, with careful planning and execution of changes
- Participate in the deployment and maintenance of OT and IT systems
- Handle day-to-day operations
- Analyze and resolve incidents and technical issues
- Support colleagues in Belgium and across Europe
General Skills
- Fluent in Dutch or French, and English
- Willing to collaborate with other ICT teams
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Own a personal vehicle
- Willing to travel to Belgian locations when required
Technical Skills
- Operational knowledge of firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint)
- Basic understanding of routing and switching (CCNA level)
- Familiarity with Cisco CLI
- Experience with Python
- Exposure to backend tools such as monitoring, NAC, central syslog, authentication
- OT experience is a plus
- Background in computer science is an asset
- Prior relevant work experience is required
