A leading insurance provider is seeking a Life Insurance Business Analyst to join its Life Insurance division, specifically within the “Business Change & Monitoring” team. This team of 10 professionals includes actuaries, business analysts, and testers, and supports strategic initiatives such as portfolio migration and commercial development projects.
Project Context
The selected candidate will contribute to the migration of individual life insurance policies from a source system to a target system, ensuring business continuity and process alignment.
Analysis
- Analyze product and process differences between source and target systems in the context of life insurance policy migration
- Define and document business requirements according to established quality standards
- Identify process impacts resulting from the migration
- Facilitate clear understanding between business stakeholders and IT teams
Testing
- Prepare and execute process and calculation tests to validate system changes
Monitoring
- Act as a liaison between business and IT teams
- Provide regular reporting on activity progress and project milestones
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the life insurance sector
- Strong knowledge of individual life insurance products and processes
- Specific expertise in “Classique” life insurance products
- Experience with life insurance policy migrations
- University degree in mathematics or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the life insurance industry
- Familiarity with at least one standard business/process analysis methodology
- Proficient in French and English; Dutch is a plus
- Strong commitment to quality and deadlines
