IT Production Department

IT Exploitation Team
A service within the IT Production department, focused on the technical layer of business applications.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and configure technical aspects of applications across environments
- Deploy releases and changes in non-production and production environments
- Ensure availability and performance of applications and the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
- Operate and monitor Sibelga’s production plan (scheduling)
- Provide standard services and resolve events, incidents, and problems
- Propose and implement continuous improvements
System Exploitation Engineer Role
Overview
- Member of the IT Exploitation team
- Alternates deployment coordination with two peers
- Leads service delivery interactions with internal customers
- Establishes a service-oriented delivery framework
Key Responsibilities
Deployment Coordination
- Create and manage Global Implementation Plans
- Allocate resources and lead deployments
- Oversee environment refreshes
- Address non-functional requirements
- Assess and manage project impacts and risks (e.g., third-party apps like Central Market System)
- Recommend and implement operational process improvements
- Report status and document alerts
- Participate in CAB and release review meetings
- Stay updated on IT standards and share insights
Service Delivery Foundations
- Define service-oriented guidelines and principles
- Develop and standardize service offerings
- Secure stakeholder buy-in
- Establish core processes, tools, and reporting
- Promote a service-first culture and mentor peers
Service Delivery Operations
- Monitor and coordinate daily service delivery
- Maintain service quality (evolutive, preventive, corrective)
- Act as primary customer liaison
- Ensure SLA compliance (quality, timeliness, cost)
- Resolve incidents and problems with technical teams
- Manage and implement change requests
- Analyze service metrics and implement improvements
- Lead dedicated service delivery teams when needed
