You will contribute to a major energy infrastructure project led by a European transmission system operator. The mission supports the reliability and sustainability of electricity supply across Belgium and Germany. You’ll join the corporate Digital & Data department, which drives data as a strategic asset for innovation, transformation, and regulatory compliance. The department operates a modern Data Platform and a dynamic Data Organization:

  • Data Platform includes:

  • Integration toolset
  • BI, analytics, and storage
  • Master Data Management
  • Data Governance (lineage, quality)
  • Data Organization includes:

  • Business Product Teams
  • Backbone/Platform Teams
  • Transversal Competencies Team
    All teams operate under Agile principles and a flat, open-source-inspired hierarchy.

    You will join a Product Team as a Data Engineer, contributing to the development of data pipelines, storage structures, analytical views, and data exchange endpoints. You may also interact with governance tools (glossary, modeling, lineage, data quality).

    Technical Expectations

    You should have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas:

    • SQL Server usage
    • Azure services: Databricks, Data Factory, Functions, Stream/Log Analytics, DevOps
    • Python in Databricks
    • Willingness to learn technologies like Redis, RabbitMQ, Neo4j, Apache Arrow

    Additional Skills

    • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders
    • Contribute to testing and DevOps practices
    • Write and structure documentation
    • Experience with Power BI
