Mission Description
The consultant will join the Cash development team (6 members) as a Power BI Expert. The mission focuses on:
- Migrating data from the CashSSP data warehouse to the cloud
- Converting static SAP BO PDF reports into Power BI reports
- Supporting a new data warehouse used by 12 European countries, making it a strategic tool for decision-making and operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities
1. Coaching & Mentoring (50%)
- Guide IT developers and business users
- Promote best practices in Power BI
- Deepen understanding of data modeling and visualization
2. Data Modeling & Report Development (50%)
- Design and maintain semantic models for scalable reporting
- Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards
- Align technical solutions with business objectives
Required Skills & Qualifications
Coaching & BI Expertise
- Proven experience in complex enterprise environments
- Power BI certification (asset)
- Expertise in DAX, Power Query, Power BI Desktop/Service
- Experience with paginated reports (plus)
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Team-oriented and collaborative mindset
- Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms
- Knowledge of SAP BO for analyzing existing reports
Semantic Modeling
- Solid experience in data modeling, transformation, and integration
- Ability to design semantic layers for consistency and performance
- Knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS) in multi-country environments
- Understanding of data connectivity modes (Import, DirectQuery, Live Connection)
- Experience with deployment pipelines and workspace structuring
Report Development
- Strong grasp of data visualization best practices
- Ability to translate business requirements into impactful dashboards
- (Optional) Experience working directly with stakeholders
