Our client is looking for a Senior Technical / Functional Analyst SAP SCM

Description

The Digital Business Solutions (DBS) department supports all of the company's “business” activities. It enables them to run efficiently and grow. It ensures that the company is equipped with autonomous IT, adapting to the evolution of its needs and technologies.

The DBS department is structured into several service units. One of them, the “IT Service Management, Transition & ERP” unit, manages the processes and applications that support the HR, Finance, Purchasing, Logistics, and Communication departments.

Within this unit, the ERP team helps the HR, Finance, Logistics, and Purchasing departments (our internal clients) to optimize their working methods and to improve the user experience through the modification of existing applications or the development of new solutions. The ERP team is composed by around fifteen professionals (project managers, functional analysts and developers).

Within the ERP team, we are looking for a Technical / Functional Analyst SAP SCM who will report directly to the ERP Team Manager.

As a Technical / Functional Analyst SAP SCM:

  • You analyze, estimate the workload and cost of changes.
  • You consider several possible solutions or approaches.
  • You assess the impact of changes on existing systems.
  • You ensure service continuity and good maintainability of the solution.
  • You make the necessary adaptations or developments based on the established specifications.
  • You update the reference documentation.
  • You develop a test plan, supervise tests, control quality, and ensure deployment.
  • You follow up and resolve incidents and problems.

Skills

  • Master’s degree or equivalent by experience.
  • Proven experience in functional analysis.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in SAP WM.
  • Experience with SAP MM and SAP PM.
  • Proven experience in ABAP and debugging.
  • Experience with Web Dynpro
  • Knowledge of EWM
  • Experience in Inventory management and warehousing.
  • Fluent in minimum one of the two national languages (Dutch/French).
  • Show good organization and great rigor in work.
  • Demonstrate efficiency and flexibility in service delivery.
  • Listening skills, analytical ability, synthesis, customer orientation, and result orientation.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the energy sector is a plus.
