Our client is looking for a Senior Scrum Master
Description
As a senior Scrum Master, you have over 5 years of experience in managing a scrum team under the Agile methodology :
- You are responsible for managing the scrum process by applying the Agile methodology;
- You facilitate your team for better creativity and try to improve the efficiency of the development team;
- You remove the impediments for the scrum team;
- You organize and facilitate the sprint planning meeting;
- You arrange daily stand-up meetings;
- You schedule and facilitate meetings, demo and decision-making processes to ensure quick inspection and proper use of the adaptation process;
- You help the Product Owner to make the product backlogs in good shape and make them ready for the next sprint;
- You organize and facilitate retrospective meetings.
Next to a proven experience in Agile Project Management, you have the following core competences : Coaching, Effective communication, Group facilitation, Result driven.
What will you do in this job?
The Scrum Master’s primary responsibility is assisting the self-organizing, self-managing team to achieve its goals:
- You are a servant leader and coach for an Agile Team.
- You help to educate the team in agile and SAFe, ensuring that the agreed Agile process is being followed.
- You help to remove impediments and you foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.
- You work in close cooperation with the Product Owner, and assist him/her in preparing and refining the backlog for the different planning cycles.
- You participate on team level retrospectives, sprint & iteration planning, daily scrum, …
- You schedule and moderate the agile ceremonies such as huddles, refinements and planning, retrospectives.
- You seek and learn from feedback, as well do you provide feedback to your team.
- You contribute to the Agile Release Train.
- You easily establish contacts with other teams
- International collaboration skills are necessary. You will also have to make the team work together in an international way.
- You are a friendly communicator with excellent communication skills.
