As a senior BackEnd Software Engineer, you have over 5 years of experience in creating designs and codes for back end software applications :
– You comprehend the functional design, based on the functional specifications;
– You draw up the program structure based on the technical design;
– You create and execute tests cases, and modify existing programs for production;
– You design related changes to be updated in the design document;
– You conduct self & peer code review;
– You resolve the assigned incidents and defects and track to closure;
– You execute technical integration testing of the application in relation with interfacing applications.

For Capital Gain Tax, we are looking for 2 senior EGL/Cobol developper WITH knowledge of the KBC Platform.
Core responsibilities:
• Software development: Writing, testing, and debugging code to build new software or enhance existing applications, based on designs created by software engineers or technical designers.
• Software testing: Ensuring software quality through various testing methods, including unit tests, integration tests and support towards the regression, UAT and E2E testing.
• Problem solving: Identifying and resolving technical issues and bugs that arise during development or in production.
Other responsibilities:
• Following KBC Standards: Adhering to established software development and security practices ( healthy coding, code review, healthy testing, healthy deployment) and guidelines within KBC.
• Security: Ensuring the security of software applications and development environments.
• Deployment: Preparing software for release and managing the deployment process
• Technical documentation: Creating clear and concise documentation for the software, including design specifications and API documentation.
