Role description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in rationalising and optimizing complex legacy solutions across multiple technical domains and hosting environments in an international company.
Your mission:
As a Solution Architect, you will work closely with IT teams to ensure that solutions aligns with strategic goals and delivers high performance, security, and scalability. You will be responsible for:
- Analysing legacy systems and solutions across multiple business & technical domains, to define solution specific rationalisation strategies..
- Ensure that target solutions are scalable, secure, and meet industry best practices.
- Develop detailed design documentation, including network, infrastructure and application diagrams.
- Provide different rationalisation options to senior leadership, taking into account cost, security, (enterprise) architectural roadmaps and business continuity perspectives.
- Ensure integration with existing and future IT landscape and operating model.
Your profile:
This job is open to all with diverse backgrounds and talents, possessing the following skills:
- 15+ years of proven experience in solution architecture, in international and federated environments
- Extensive experience with end-to-end solution design, across different technical layers and domains (IAM, cloud, application, network, security…)
- Extensive experience with cloud migrations and infrastructure re-platforming
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct presentations on a executive level (group & BU CIO, CDO, CISO)
- Open-mindedness and a collaborative approach, capable of engaging with various stakeholders.
- Ability to drive, coach (technically) and coordinate a x-functional team of IT engineers
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex data and make strategic recommendations.
- Fluency in English is required; and either French or Dutch (both is a plus).
