Our client is looking for: Test Lead
Description
As part of several projects within the Signalling Design Platform cell related to the ETCS (European Train Control System), our client's ICT is looking for a test lead with ISTQB certification and knowledge of quality standards such as EN 50.128. This test lead will lead a small Agile team consisting of several testers and will actively participate in both manual and automated testing of Java projects. He/She adopts an innovative approach, respecting cybersecurity principles and ICT/company standards.
The ability to work proactively and independently on challenging projects is an essential part of this role. The test lead will also contribute to the business objectives of the projects, which requires a strong user-oriented vision and close collaboration with business teams. The projects involved are subject to various standards (quality: ISO 9001, signalling: EN 50.128, security: ISO 27001 – NIS). It is therefore crucial that the candidate works meticulously and dedicates sufficient time to the required documentation to ensure compliance with these standards.
The ideal candidate is a senior test lead, experienced in working within Agile/Scrum teams, proactive and independent, with a strong interest in business challenges. He/She has a user- and quality-oriented vision and can communicate ideas clearly and structured to colleagues (testers, business teams).
Technical skills
- Knowledge of French and Dutch (B2: advanced proficiency)
- Knowledge of English (C2: full and nuanced proficiency)
- Experience as test lead (L3: at least 5 years)
- Experience in manual testing (L3: at least 5 years)
- Strong technical knowledge and experience with Jira (including administration) and Xray (L3: at least 5 years)
- Experience with Ranorex automation tools (L3: at least 5 years)
- Experience with Ready-API or SOAP-UI automation tools (L1: at least some experience)
- ISTQB certification (level: n/a)
- Knowledge of EN50.128 standard (level: n/a)
- Knowledge of TDD and penetration testing (L1: at least some experience)
- Experience in load testing (LoadRunner), performance testing (L2: at least 2 years)
- Knowledge of HP-ALM / HP-UFT (L2: at least 2 years)
- Knowledge of MySQL, Git, Gitlab (L2: at least 2 years)
- Knowledge and experience in Agile/Scrum (L4: at least 10 years)[1]
