Our client is looking for a Mobile Solutions Architect
Description
The profile fulfilling the role of Mobile Solutions Architect will be responsible for architecture within a digital landscape. The architecture consists of three layers: the business layer, the application layer, and the infrastructure layer. Each of these layers has its specific purpose within the overall architecture. The profile will assist in each layer to design the blueprints of the fundamental structures leading to mobile applications.
The architecture will conform to prevailing standards within ICT, be sufficiently performant, and ensure scalability for the future (a sustainable architecture). It will seek a balance between complexity and maintainability, business logic and development patterns, and robustness and future orientation.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
- Developing high-level structures for a generic framework in which mobile applications will be developed, including their interactions.
- Selecting the most suitable structures and patterns for a digital solution.
- Coordinating between architectural layers within the three-tier development model.
- Designing a future-oriented architecture with foundational blocks for new functionalities.
- Creating an architecture focused on the end-user experience, maximising an intuitive approach.
- Ensuring the architecture complies with current security requirements and embraces future hardening.
Technical skills
- Knowledge, experience, and certification in ITIL and PRINCE2 (L3: minimum 5 years).
- Experience in managing development projects using Agile, SCRUM, and Kanban methods (L3: minimum 5 years).
- Experience with modelling languages such as ArchiMate, UML, and BPMN (L2: minimum 2 years).
- Experience with MVC development model in three-tier application architecture (L3: minimum 5 years).
- Experience transforming full-stack web solutions into mobile solutions (L3: minimum 5 years).
- Experience with methods and patterns for converting web applications into hybrid or native mobile apps, respecting responsive and UI/UX design rules (L2: minimum 2 years).
- Experience integrating event-based programming with messaging/queuing principles (L2: minimum 2 years).
- Experience with mobile network principles, internet, and secure access to professional applications via multi-factor authentication (L2: minimum 2 years).
- Experience with contemporary server systems (application, web, database) and document storage solutions in Microsoft, Oracle, or others (L3: minimum 5 years).
- Experience with infrastructure components such as reverse proxy, load balancing, and containerisation (L2: minimum 2 years).
- Experience with development languages such as .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Java, Angular2+, and related frameworks and scripting components (L3: minimum 5 years).
- Experience with interfacing solutions: API & Web (SOAP/XML), REST/JSON & microservices, including secure interface setup (L2: minimum 2 years).
- Experience with Cordova & Telerik Kendo UI tools (L2: minimum 2 years).
- Experience with development methods for mobile devices based on Android OS and/or iOS (L2: minimum 2 years).
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (L2: minimum 2 years).
- Experience with ETL tool Ab Initio (L3: minimum 5 years).
- Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect software (L2: minimum 2 years).
