The Digital department is actively looking for a Functional Analyst – Business Oriented to join the Field Applications & Integrity Management team within the Asset Management domain (gas networks).
This domain covers business activities related to gas assets such as Third-Party Works, Grid Maintenance, Metering, Cathodic Protection, Terminals, and more. Multiple systems are used, including a KLIM-CICC platform, customized industrial solutions developed in .NET and integrated with SAP PM, geospatial asset management tools, and information management systems.
Team Responsibilities

Project Services: Adapting software products to meet requirements from company-wide projects.

Product Enhancement: Ensuring software products meet business needs by implementing new functionalities requested by users.

Product Support: Maintaining operational continuity and providing user support.

Product Maintenance: Ensuring stable functioning through issue resolution and adaptation to evolving environments.
Role Responsibilities
The selected candidate will demonstrate a strong interest in the Asset Management domain, understand business needs, and assess their impact on ICT systems. Key responsibilities include:
1. External Platform
Support for the KLIM-CICC platform in collaboration with a service provider. Tasks include:

Validating member onboarding.

Initiating, evaluating, and testing functional changes and fixes.
-
Coordinating closely with the Service Desk Manager.
-
Participating in steering committees to ensure strategic alignment.
2. Internal Applications
-
Provide support to end-users on production systems.
-
Understand and challenge internal and external customer needs to define real requirements, advise appropriately, and propose aligned solutions (in collaboration with the architecture office).

Analyze functional and business problems, defining appropriate solutions with the development team.
-
Translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories.
-
Create business process and system documentation using UML & BPMN artifacts (business process models, use case diagrams, activity diagrams, information models, etc.).
-
Define domain interface specifications using domain-driven design principles.
-
Help define action plans to deliver user stories and break them down into actionable tasks.
-
Produce and follow up on test scenarios for system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
-
Review peer deliverables such as functional system specifications and interface specifications.

Act as SPOC for all functional questions during development, ensuring alignment between business and ICT product teams.

Follow up on implementation progress.

Facilitate estimation and planning sessions.
-
Contribute to user manuals, release notes, and end-user training.
-
Provide recommendations based on experience to improve business processes.
