Our client has decided to review its end-to-end (multi-disciplinary) processes for the execution of their infrastructure projects and adopt a new technology stack (the Autodesk suite) to support them. In this context, the objective is to use new processes and support existing needs by leveraging the technology.
The Autodesk Vault and Construction Cloud applications will play a crucial role in implementing a new way of working, optimising collaboration for the company internally and with their external business partners.
The new tools and workflows will be implemented in a way that provides BIM-level standardisation as we’re seeing a broad tendency across European electricity transport providers (TSOs) to move to standardised and modern, data-driven ways of working which enable significant efficiency and productivity gains.
The proposed implementation approach is to work with a product-mindset, with a backlog and short release periods.

Core competency:
Good knowledge and expertise of the Autodesk Landscape with a primary focus on Autodesk Construction Cloud and a secondary focus on Vault. The objective is to challenge existing processes with in-depth technical knowledge and provide best practice solutions. This service will work hand in hand with the product team to facilitate and provide recommendation on the implementation phase.
Remark: All tasks will be carried out in the context of the ACC/Vault product serving different projects within the company. The product team will consist of this profile, a Product owner, a Tech lead, business analysts and specific developers (ACC/Vault/Integration – not from the company and to be sourced in another recruitment request) to implement the solutions. It must be clear for all suppliers that it is not possible to ensure that all services will be sourced from the same supplier
Assignments to be performed:
- Advise projects & IT Architecture about best-practice (process/data/technology)
- Propose solutions for processes across the Autodesk stack (ACC vs Vault).
- Propose approach for managing design tools & data models and a central datamodel (alignment with Asset management practices)
- Provide guidance on workflows, data management, governance to improve compliance with standards and rules
- Advise on how to integrate the Autodesk stack (ACC/Vault) with other Elia systems (identify interfaces)
- Set up the governance rules and processes for managing the system
- Document conclusions and proposals for the system, workflows, data structures and governance on Elia (to-be) document system
- Perform baseline configuration (nice to have)
Requirements:
- Autodesk Construction Cloud (primary)
- Advanced ACC knowledge on abilities for workflows, roles, task and access management
- Solid technical knowledge on configuration of workflows, roles and rights
- Vault (secondary)
- Advanced knowledge on configuration practices and capabilities
- Knowledge on best practices
- General
- Propose a governance to manage a hybrid environment where Vault & ACC coexist (if applicable)
- Expertise in process optimisation with focus on the technical know-how to leverage the technology and challenge existing approaches.
