Our client is looking for a BI BODS developer.
Mission context
The Factory is responsible for the management, maintenance, and evolution of our data solutions (Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and SAP BO/DS).
The BI BODS developer will join the development, maintenance, and support team for SAP BODS solutions (both corrective and evolutionary aspects).
Main tasks:
- Develop and maintain Data Service flows in all layers (generally Staging, DWH, DataMart, Universe)
- Develop data transformation flows via SAP Data Service
- Contribute to the modeling of the Warehouse & Data Mart
- Establish the technical design, implementation of the architecture
- Establish the unit test plan for the solution
- Monitor/execute unit tests
- Be responsible for the transport and deployment of their code within the framework of releases
- Be able to participate in peer review of developments with other team members
- Participate in estimating the effort related to development activities
- Write technical documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement (development guidelines)
- Contribute to maintenance & incident resolution (production)
Desired profile
Technical skills sought:
- Knowledge of Oracle databases
- Language requirement: French level C2 on the European CEFR scale
- Proven experience with SAP extractors
- Proven experience in Data/BI/Analytics
- Proven experience in developing applications built using SAP DS ETL (versions 4.2 and 4.3)
- Proven experience in the energy sector in Belgium
- Proven experience in dimensional modeling
- Knowledge of English B1
- Knowledge of SAP Business Object
- Knowledge of development best practices in terms of security and experience in their implementation
- Experience with a modeling tool (Sparx EA)
- Experience in Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodology
- Proven experience with SAP S4/HANA modules (FI, CS, MM)
- Knowledge of using Azure DevOps
- Experience with SAP BW (7.5)
- Experience with a testing management tool (HPQC and Azure test plan)
- Proven experience with Azure & Fabric Cloud Data tools
