Our client is looking for an IT/OT Infrastructure Engineer (Linux)
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
Our client is actively looking for an IT/OT Operations Infrastructure Engineer with an in-depth Linux Administration background and a good understanding of Windows Administration, to join the IT/OT Operations Infrastructure team. The objective of this team is to support, maintain and modernize the IT/OT Operations Infrastructure.
- Design, implement and manage changes in the IT/OT Operations Infrastructure landscape.
- Support IT/OT Operations Infrastructure architects during the design of new solutions and support the implementation phase from an idea, up to a full functional solution in the production environment.
- Analyse and troubleshoot problems and technical errors.
- Support and coach the other team members.
- Maintain the IT/OT Operations Infrastructure landscape and document support procedures.
- Propose improvements to our IT/OT Operations Infrastructure.
- Be open to participate in an on duty (24/7) support role on a 1 week / 4 weeks schedule (on request)
GENERAL SKILLS
At least be able to follow passively a conversation in both of our national languages Dutch & French (this is a must) and fluent in English.
- Passionate about IT/OT Operations Infrastructure technologies.
- Analytical reasoning skills for problem diagnostics.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a regulated environment.
SKILLS & EXPERTISE
- Have an in-depth knowledge of:
- Ansible Automation and IDM
- Container Platforms
- Linux Red Hat, RedHat Satellite and Insight
- Oracle Linux VM (OLVM)
- Have experience in:
- Shell Scripting and Python
- Kibana/Logstash/Elasticsearch
- Crushftp
- Red Hat products and services Security Management
- Have knowledge in the management of
- Zabbix monitoring
- Backup/Restore systems
- SAN/NAS Storage systems
- Have a good understanding of Windows Server Administration
- Have a basic understanding of networks and other IT/OT Operations Infrastructure technologies
- Experience with cloud Architecture and experience with Azure and Azure DevOps and AKS specifically, is a plus.
