Our client is looking for 2 Qualified Java Developers & 2 Senior Java Developers
Context
We are forming two agile teams to deliver an investment project called “Automation.”
The project is planned over one year.
The candidates – if selected – will join the replacement income domain.
They will work in an agile team responsible for implementing the automation investment file.
The automation file includes two projects and two corresponding agile teams:
- Typeless
- DocPerDoc
The goal of these projects is the end-to-end digitalization of the processing of certain administrative documents in the compensation reimbursement process, as well as the automation of a series of processes.
Responsibilities
Qualified Java Developer
- You analyze integrations with other systems in the organization (infrastructure, other dev teams, …).
- You are responsible for the correct and qualitative implementation of “user stories” and “tasks.”
- You communicate effectively with various stakeholders (team members, PO, architecture, …).
- You actively participate in team refinements to implement effective technical solutions. You propose relevant technical improvement solutions to the team.
- You take non-functional requirements into account when implementing solutions (performance, user experience, …).
- You collaborate well with infrastructure to deploy applications efficiently.
- You document your developments and the technical architecture of applications in depth but without getting lost in details.
Senior Java Developer
Includes the responsibilities of the Qualified level (see above).
Additional Senior responsibilities:
- You support medior and junior colleagues in the team to help them overcome technical challenges (via peer-programming, technical advice, …).
- You assist the team in implementing an effective testing strategy (CI/CD).
- You guide the team toward the best technical choices. You foster collective intelligence and encourage good development and collaboration practices (code review, peer programming, …).
Profile
- You speak French or Dutch with a good understanding of the other national language (understanding the other language is a must-have).
- You have professional knowledge of English.
- We are looking for team players who are open-minded. The projects are strongly integrated into existing systems. Alignment with other project teams is essential for project success: knowledge sharing, impact analysis, release coordination, …
- You are ready to take the lead on EPICS (following change processes, coordination, etc.).
- You are a team player and enjoy working in a team.
- You are not afraid to dive into topics you don’t know.
- You are open-minded and have a continuous improvement mindset.
- Agile principles are second nature, and you are open to working in SCRUM.
