Our client is looking for experienced ServiceNow software engineer.
Description
As a key member of our ServiceNow team, you’ll help shape and automate our core IT processes, including:
- Asset & Configuration Management
- Service Agreements & Release Management
- Incident & Problem Management
- Continuity & Operations Management
- …and expanding into areas like Vulnerability Management and Pentesting.
You’ll be at the heart of designing solutions that make life easier for our IT colleagues—delivering tools that are intuitive, efficient, and fit for purpose.
Your role
You will:
- Analyze, design, and test process automations on the ServiceNow platform (development handled by our CZ Global Competence Center).
- Design and test integrations between ServiceNow (cloud) and other applications (on-prem/cloud), in collaboration with the API Gateway team.
- Translate business needs into technical designs that deliver real value.
- Tackle complex incidents and ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to bring solutions to life.
- Focus on analysis, design, and problem-solving. Scripting and programming are NOT part of this job.
Who You Are
Solid knowledge of ServiceNow is a MUST (minimum 5 years of experience). On top of that:
- You have a solid technical foundation and strong analytical skills.
- You’re fluent in Dutch and English.
- You’re curious about IT infrastructure and eager to learn more.
- You’re pragmatic and solution-oriented—always aiming for what’s fit for purpose.
- You have solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals or proficiency in another programming language to feel comfortable with technical concepts
As a senior BackEnd Software Engineer, you have over 5 years of experience in creating designs and codes for back end software applications :
- You comprehend the functional design, based on the functional specifications;
- You draw up the program structure based on the technical design;
- You create and execute tests cases, and modify existing programs for production;
- You design related changes to be updated in the design document;
- You conduct self & peer code review;
- You resolve the assigned incidents and defects and track to closure;
- You execute technical integration testing of the application in relation with interfacing applications.
