Our client is looking for a Technical Agile Coach
CONTEXT
The energy transition, evolving market dynamics and customer expectations are challenging the company's Digital department to rethink the way they deliver value. That is why, following a pilot in 2025, we will start scaling up to a Product Centric approach as from 2026. Product Centric will change and optimize the way Digital prioritizes, delivers value, interacts with the business and manages interdependencies. To facilitate this important change in the way we work, we envision intensive coaching of the agile teams and the new roles in these teams.
JOB SUMMARY
To support the transformation to a product-centric organisation and operating model, Fluxys is actively looking for a seasoned Technical Agile Coach with proven experience in a scaled agile environment (preferably LeSS).
Working alongside other Agile Coaches, you will guide our teams in adapting, collaborating, and delivering value efficiently. Your specific mandate is to bridge the gap between Agile processes and Engineering culture, with a heavy focus on facilitating software solution design and delivery in an agile environment.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
This seasoned Technical Agile coach will establish the chosen agile framework as per definition. You will help the teams to understand and embrace agile practices. You will ensure and enable the product team’s effectiveness and improvement of its practices within the framework.
- Coach and mentor: you coach and mentor new Agile teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile values, principles, and frameworks
- Drive Business-Value Product Ownership: you lead teams in aligning product decisions with strategic business objectives to maximize value, coaching them on prioritization strategies and feature alignment.
- Cross-Team Learning: you actively promote and facilitate cross-learning between teams to break down silos.
- Introduce engineering best practices: you support teams in adopting engineering best practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and DevOps culture.
- Boost efficiency: you reduce the response-time of reliable solutions to concrete business needs
- Implement & support business metrics: you assist in implementing technical health metrics to drive continuous improvement.
SKILLS & EXPERTISE
- 10 + years of software solution design and delivery. You have “been there” as a developer or architect and possess deep empathy for engineering challenges.
- You have deep practical knowledge of scaled agile systems. (Preferably LeSS).
- You are able to quickly be productive in new, complex business domains
- You understand that a technical transformation is actually a people transformation. You can connect with operational technicians, middle management, and strategic leadership alike.
- You are able to work in a multi-team environment, to create an inclusive environment and to manage conflicts.
- You have practical experience in
- Architecture: Solid grounding in Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Testing Strategy: Expertise in (A)TDD and writing expressive automated test suites as living documentation.
- Delivery Flow: Experience with Continuous Trunk-Based Delivery.
- Visual Communication: Communicating architecture via techniques like C4.
- You are fluent in French, Dutch and English
