Our client is looking for an IT Functional Analyst
Context of the Mission / Objective(s) of the Job
Our client's Information Systems (IS) is responsible for delivering a challenging business roadmap over the next years. Therefore, we are looking to reinforce our team with several talented IT specialists.
The candidate will be part of a dynamic IT Department of around 100 persons with multiple teams and with E2E responsibilities. This department is responsible for all software developments of insurance-related applications.
The applications are developed based on a Microfocus mainframe emulator in Windows (programming language Cobol/Mix Cobol+.NET), with various technologies used on the frontend (.Net, CRM), printing, integration, and communication side.

Objective of the Job
As a Functional Analyst, you will:
- Be in charge of translating business requirements into a structured IT solution while keeping a functional approach and respecting the standards
- Help translating this functional design into well-tailored technical design
- Prepare functional integration test cases based on the requirements
- Test the product before delivery to the users
- Analyse potential corrective actions to be taken
- Coordinate technical designers and programmers during implementation of functionalities
- Work closely with the business to ensure the final solution fits their needs
- Report to your manager and project leaders on the progress of your work
- Actively support the Project leaders in the project implementation
