This Project Manager role is part of the Energy Transition Program. The program aims to prepare the company to meet the environmental and technological challenges of the energy transition.

In particular, a Smart Grid sub-program is dedicated to implementing solutions and functionalities within technical operations, covering areas such as network planning and operation.

This sub-program is essential for improving the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of electrical networks. It will lead to a series of specific projects based on the business objectives defined in the 2023 Smart Grid roadmap. Topics will include renewable energy integration, intelligent demand management, energy flow optimization, and much more.

Projects may vary significantly in terms of themes and project types (Agile, Waterfall, R&D POC). Each project aims to deliver practical and innovative solutions that contribute to the energy transition and modernization of infrastructure, supported by modern technologies (AI, Machine Learning, etc.).

The Project Manager will play a central role in coordinating these initiatives and ensuring effective collaboration between various external service providers responsible for analysis and implementation, as well as different project profiles within technical and business teams. In collaboration with technical teams, they will ensure that each project under their responsibility aligns with the strategic vision and delivers significant added value to the organization. The Project Manager will report to and be supported by a Smart Grid Program Manager.

Ideal Profile for this Position:

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in project management, across Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies
  • Experience managing web and data projects (algorithms)
  • End-to-end project management experience, covering all dimensions and stakeholders (business, IT, legal, procurement, etc.)
  • Ability to bridge the gap between Business and IT
  • Experience collaborating with engineering/technical profiles
  • Pragmatic, with good judgment and ability to adapt structured approaches to context and situation
  • Proactive and assertive
  • Ability to maintain a helicopter view and define priorities while considering constraints in collaboration with all stakeholders
  • Strong belief in the urgency and importance of the energy transition, and a desire to make a positive impact through daily work on this strategic priority for society
  • Experience in the energy sector, ideally with a network operator

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support and assist the project sponsor
  • Initiate projects by clarifying and aligning stakeholders on objectives, scope, assumptions, dependencies, and impacts
  • Ensure clear and concise communication with all stakeholders (e.g., business teams, architects, change management, infrastructure, application teams, etc.)
  • Plan the project, ensuring resource and skill allocation for successful execution
  • Lead project committees and coordinate the mobilized project team
  • Monitor project execution (scope, schedule, budget)
  • Deliver the project with the appropriate quality level, expected benefits, on time, and within budget, in line with the project plan
  • Manage dependencies and interfaces with other related projects/applications
  • Address issues and implement corrective actions
  • Anticipate and manage risks
