Within the IS Life division, the Architecture & Domain Management team provides its expertise and support in a wide range of domains and strategic initiatives that support Life Insurance
The projects we work on promote both operational efficiency (OPEX), the modernization of our legacy platforms, and technological innovation thanks to critical assets for our clients, for intermediaries, and also for our operations teams.
We handle the development of our platforms as well as integration with our key partners (BNPPF – EasyBanking Web, EasyBanking App and EasyBanking for Employees; BVB; Portima).
In this very diverse context, we are looking for a Transformation Solution Architect who wants to help us design and create innovative solutions that, in collaboration with our business, will shape the future of our department.
As a Transformation Solution Architect within IS Life, you will be responsible for designing, based on numerous discussions with the business and our existing systems, conceptual and concrete architectural solutions that will transform our department and interactions with our partners and clients.
You will be responsible for structuring discussions with our business and also helping them understand the technological challenges of the future.
You will work in a hybrid landscape:
- A large part of the applications still run in a COBOL Microfocus environment;
- At the same time, we are fully committed to modernization and are moving towards .Net, Angular environments applying the principles of Domain Driven Design architecture.

Objective of the job
- Solution design: You analyze alternatives and design sustainable, future-oriented solutions in accordance with company IT architectural standards.
- Transformation: You analyze the current situation and, through your interactions with the business and your architectural knowledge, propose concrete structural transformations, accompanied by an implementation approach and a budget.
- Symbiosis with Business and IT: You are an expert in business alignment, establishing mutual understanding, and creating common and achievable architectural views.
- You dare to challenge things and bring new ideas.
- You work closely with the business and other IS teams in the department, transversal IS teams (Application Technology, Architecture & Strategy), and I&O for the transition from the architecture phase to the implementation phase.
- Governance and documentation: You pay attention to the quality of solutions (and compliance with standards), documentation, and you will present your architectural solutions to it’s architecture board.
- You define a short-, medium-, and especially long-term vision for the development of IT systems.
- You challenge and validate proposed solutions with the technical architecture team.
- You take into account the costs required for implementation and the maintainability/run of your solution.
