Our client is looking for a Sparx Enterprise Architect Repository Administrator.
Description
The mission consists of managing a central Sparx Enterprise Architect repository, processing all inquiries coming from Business and IT stakeholders. You will be responsible of the following tasks:
- Maintain and continuously update the central Sparx EA repository, ensuring that all applications, interfaces, models, and documentation are accurate, complete, and well-organized.
- Consolidate and validate application metadata—including attributes and ownership – by collaborating with Product Owners, Business Architects, and IT domain leads to ensure comprehensive information.
- Process and respond to inquiries from business and IT stakeholders regarding repository access, usage, and updates to architecture or portfolio information.
- Oversee and control user permissions, ensuring appropriate and secure access to repository content.
- Support users by providing guidance on modeling standards, best practices, correct repository usage, and assistance with scripting (VBA).
- Facilitate collaboration across teams by integrating stakeholder feedback and requirements into the repository, resolving issues or conflicts in architectural documentation.
- Set up, design, and deploy dashboards within Prolaborate to provide enhanced insights and collaborative capabilities.
- Support querying and reporting for both Sparx EA and Prolaborate, and drive the industrialization of reports and dashboards to ensure scalable, professional solutions.
- Monitor changes across the application landscape, ensuring accurate mapping between business processes and supporting applications, and reflecting updates, decommissions, and new implementations.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards on the health, structure, and completeness of the application portfolio to inform business and IT leadership.
- Lead the deployment of MDG developments, including testing, validating, and tracking as part of release management.
- Implement and test necessary updates for incorporating APM applications into Sparx EA, coordinating with development teams.
- Test new Sparx EA and Prolaborate versions before deployment to ensure stability and compatibility.
- Manage contacts with Sparx Systems regarding licensing for both Sparx EA and Procloud Server.

You will work:
- Within a project team you will act as a project team member and are allocated to a Project Leader. The Project methodology will be defined by the project.
- Within the IT Architecture team, you will support and guide the team to set-up Application Portfolio Management with the help of Sparx EA.
- Within a product team, where you will act as a product team member, supporting the Product Owner, and work in an agile and/or scrum way of working
Requirements:
Required expertise:
- Expertise in Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect and Prolaborate is a must
- Experience in business architecture and application portfolio management
- Familiar with ArchiMate, BPMN and UML
- Experience in data organization, dashboarding and documentation
