Our client is looking for an IT Project Manager
Context
The Digital Business Solutions (DBS) department supports the company’s business activities. It allows them to be efficient and keep evolving. The department ensures that the company is equipped with an autonomous IT system in line with evolving needs and technologies.
The Market & Metering Management department of the DBS department is growing rapidly under the impuls of the energy transition and rapid evolving technological changes: the introduction of smart meters, the increase of local production (e.g. photovoltaic panels and energy communities) and the emergence of the electric vehicle,..
To meet these new challenges, we want to strengthen our Energy Transition team, which has about 15 employees. Our team manages the applications used to support the energy transition (giving customers access to their energy consumption, management of energy communities, energy management systems for public administrations, etc…) and for the management of customers in a vulnerable situation. These applications include a digital data hub, ERP system for managing vulnerable customers and mobile & web applications connected via web services. For this we are looking for a Project Manager who can help us in the development of the projects.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates in the upstream phase of the project, if necessary, a study, or the drafting of RFI, RFP. Identifies stakeholders. Defines the project plan (PMP) with regard to scope and deliverables, planning, resources and project governance (standards, methods, processes and tools).
- Evaluates and requests the necessary resources to count on a motivated and efficient team that focuses on the shared objectives of the project. Manages the project team in good cooperation with the Team Managers of these resources.
- Manages, in collaboration with the Team Manager, the contracts with suppliers at an operational level to ensure that the suppliers actually provides the correct service to the project and that the contractual terms are actually complied with.
- Identifies and manages project risks and problems. Identifies changes together with the team, analyzes their impact and implements the necessary actions. Communicates with project stakeholders. Assigns and monitors tasks/activities of project team members. Manages the human and technical requirements of the project. Applies the methods, processes, and tools laid out in the project plan. Manages the end-to-end process according to the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and the Software Management Life Cycle (SDLC). Ensures that the project and the new functionalities are put into production correctly and in a controlled manner, ensuring the availability of the existing services and consistency with the new services.
- Ensures the transfer of project knowledge to operations to ensure the continuity of “business as usual” for all parties involved in the project. Ensures the monitoring and the evolutionary and corrective maintenance of the implemented solutions during the “post-go-live” period.

- Proven experience with Scrum & Agile methodologies
- Proven experience with SDLC (Software Delivery Life Cycle)
- You have a perfect command of English in technical or professional contexts
- You have a perfect command of French or Dutch and you have a very good knowledge of the other language (understanding and reading).
- Certified as a Scrum Master
- Proven experience with Cloud (Azure, AWS,…)
- Proven experience with ITIL
- Proven experience with JIRA
- Proven experience with RFP
- Proven experience in the energy sector
- Proven experience in the IT sector
- The supplier and the resource guarantee that there is no interest and no privileged links with a supplier of an IT solution for energy management.
