Our client is looking for: Senior Trainer–Analyst–Scrum Master
Description
In the context of several projects within the Signalling Design Platform related to ETCS (European Train Control System), ICT is looking for a senior trainer capable of assuming the roles of Scrum Master and functional analyst. This profile combines three essential functions: Trainer, Functional Analyst, Scrum Master.
Trainer role
He/she will be responsible for delivering training (often in English) on business topics (ETCS, signalling) at a basic to medium level, intended for IT profiles (analysts, developers, testers) newly integrated into the Signalling Design Platform and within the business partner office. The objective is to enable them to understand the context in which they operate.
Functional Analyst and Scrum Master role
He/she will facilitate the work of a small Agile/Scrum team consisting of:
- 1 to 3 testers
- 7 to 8 developers
- Sometimes an additional analyst (depending on needs)
He/she will organize, prepare and lead in English the various ceremonies and meetings related to the Scrum methodology. He/she will also perform all or part of the functional analysis of the team’s different releases.

Quality–Safety Context
The projects are subject to several standards:
- Quality: ISO 9001
- Signalling: EN 50.128
- Security: ISO 27001 – NIS
The candidate must demonstrate rigour and devote the necessary time to documentation to ensure follow-up and compliance with these standards.
Ideal profile
A senior trainer experienced in working within Agile/Scrum teams, pedagogical, with a strong interest in business challenges.
He/she possesses:
- A user- and quality-oriented vision
- The ability to communicate ideas clearly and in a structured manner
- Ease in a multicultural environment
Technical skills
- Knowledge of French or Dutch (C1: complex proficiency)
- Knowledge of English (B2: upper-intermediate level)
- Experience in training (L3: at least 5 years of experience)
- Experience in functional analysis (L3: at least 5 years of experience)
- Experience as Scrum Master (L2: at least 2 years of experience)
- Good knowledge and experience of Jira (also as configurator/administrator) and Confluence (L3: at least 5 years of experience)
- Experience with Balsamiq (L2: at least 2 years of experience)
- Experience with Enterprise Architect tools (L1: at least some experience)
- Experience with Postman (L1: at least some experience)
- Knowledge of the standard EN50.128 (level: not applicable)
- Knowledge of UML (L1: at least some experience)
Soft skills
- The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of the company, the IT world, and understand the challenges of the requested role. He must also understand the mission and core activities of the company.
- The candidate must demonstrate the ability to integrate into the company teams, particularly through the values of kindness, courage, positivity and reliability.
- The candidate must demonstrate skills inherent to the requested function and aligned with the ICT department, namely presentation skills, a professional attitude, correctness and respect toward management, clear and effective communication, and responsible engagement for the duration of the contract.
