Our client is looking for: Expert Data Analyst
Description
The Data Analyst analyses business questions, defines relevant KPIs and translates raw data into reliable, usable datasets. He/she performs data transformations with SQL on structured and (semi-)unstructured data, works within a Medallion architecture and thinks in terms of data products and data mesh. The Data Analyst ensures data quality through targeted quality controls and builds dashboards and reports in Power BI (with DAX) to clearly visualize insights. Finally, he/she has knowledge of MS Fabric Lakehouse in order to correctly situate and interpret data within the platform.
Technical skills
- Analysis of business data & definition of KPIs (L4: at least 10 years of experience)
- Data transformations with SQL on structured and unstructured data (L4: at least 10 years of experience)
- Experience in understanding Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) (L4: at least 10 years of experience)
- Data mesh & data products thinking (L2: at least 2 years of experience)
- Evaluating and substantiating data quality (L4: at least 10 years of experience)
- Creation of dashboards & visualizations in Power BI (including DAX) (L4: at least 10 years of experience)
- MS Fabric Lakehouse (basic understanding) (L2: at least 2 years of experience)
- Experience in clear and targeted communication, showing initiative and acting consistently proactively (L4: at least 10 years of experience)
- English (B2: Upper-intermediate level)
- Dutch or French (C1: Advanced mastery)
