Our client is looking for a Windows Support Engineer Service Company/
Service description
The contingent worker will manage (day to day) the Windows Server environment. Manage (day to day) = second-level support; pick up cases helpdesk cannot solve.
Requirements
Technical skills Understanding + proven experience of following domains is a must:
- Windows Server 2016 – 2022
- Server hardware (monitoring – troubleshooting)
- Networking and security principles
Understanding and experience of following domains- products is a PLUS:
- Active Directory
- MS Exchange
- MS SCOM – MS SCCM
- VMWare vSphere ESX
- PowerShell (advanced knowledge is a plus)
- Netapp storage management (L1-2)
- (HPE ProLiant)
- Citrix (PRTG monitoring)
- (Anti-malware solutions: Trend Micro Deep Security, Scanmail, Mailmarshall, TMCM)
Other Important Skills
- You are able to speak, read and write fluently English and French or Dutch.
- Must be a team player.
- Must have planning and organizational skills (working with strict deadlines – must be able to cope with stress).
- Must be able to troubleshoot technical problems.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Customer minded.
- Able to learn new products-environments quickly.
- Able to write processes – documentation.
- Must have a Driver license + car + mobile phone.
- Must be accountable and is NOT a 9 to 5 worker.
