Our client is looking for a Data Integration Engineer
Description
In the scope of the evolution of the IT landscape, our client is actively looking for an external experienced Data Integration Engineer / Integration Layer Developer. This position is part of one of our product teams handling asset data. The mission consists of the following tasks:
- Design and implementation of solutions for effective data management (such as data quality tooling, master data management)
- Ensure alignment between the business/technical architecture and the functional/non-functional needs of the clients
- Bring concrete experience regarding best practices in data management concepts
- Guarantee performance and trust in the solution by participating in the setup and follow-up of a continuous build and testing platform
- Collaborate with the (sub)chapter lead to contribute to the maturity development of the chapter
- Bring technical expertise to the team as well as infrastructure knowledge of tools used in the data platform (Open Data Soft, queue manager, distributed cache, audit and monitoring)
- Participate in the setup of an efficient and dynamic documentation solution
- Provide second and third line support for production
Requirements
Technical Skills (required)
- Experience in .NET / Microsoft platform (3+ years)
- Integration framework experience
- Scheduler framework experience
- Audit and trace framework experience (3+ years)
- Experience with efficient monitoring tools (3+ years)
- Experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP), XML, Flat Files, GraphQL, Messaging-/Streaming-based communication
- Experience with a data-centric approach and working in a product organization
- Capabilities to support administration of tools in a mixed Windows and Unix environment
- Theoretical knowledge and practical experience with distributed architecture patterns (synchronous & asynchronous)
- Practical knowledge of distributed cache patterns
- Practical experience with messaging and/or event streaming solutions
- Practical experience in developing a data integration layer
- Automated unit testing and integration testing
- Continuous integration development
- Good command of Dutch and/or French and English is required
- Supplier and procurement documentation and meetings with external parties will be conducted in English

Additional Information
- Work regime: Full-time, at least 80%
- Onsite presence: By default, 2 days per week onsite required
