Our client is looking for a Junior Data Quality Analyst
Description
The projects can vary considerably, both in the themes of the projects and in the type of project (agile, waterfall, R&D POC). Each project aims to bring practical and innovative solutions that will contribute to the energy transition and the modernization of infrastructures, supported by modern technologies (AI, Machine Learning, etc.).
A prerequisite essential for the effective use of these new Smart Grid software tools and for achieving the benefits sought by the company is to have sufficient data quality. The role of analyst therefore has a crucial role in the success of this program and will play a central role in the continuous improvement of key data to feed these new software tools, within the framework of the data governance in place at Resa. This role will report to and be supported by the coordinator of the AI & Data Governance team.
Responsibilities:
- proactively detect data quality issues
- propose suggestions for resolution
- conduct root cause analyses to understand the origin of the data quality issue
- train data producers in good practices for managing data quality
- assist the data governance team in creating a data quality culture
Skills
- Ability to understand business challenges and the links with the data
- Ability to document quality rules, results, and monitor the observed deviations
- Ability to carry out a root cause analysis in case of a data problem
- Ability to propose possible solutions to resolve data issues
- Knowledge of data quality dimensions
- Experience in data profiling and data analysis
- Proficiency in the Python programming language
- Proficiency in the SQL query language
- Driven by technological watch related to data quality management
- Ability to communicate and work autonomously with the various stakeholders of the company
- Experience with data profiling libraries such as Soda or Great Expectations
- Experience with SAP ECC or S4/HANA
- Experience with SAP SAC Analytics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in the energy sector
- C1 level in French
- University degree or bachelor’s degree in a higher education institution with an IT, data, or equivalent orientation
- Conviction of the urgency and importance of the energy transition, and willingness to have a positive impact in their daily work on this strategic priority for our society
