Context

Het project Evidence Based Prevention (EBP) heeft als doel de gezondheidspreventie te versterken door zich strikt te baseren op gevalideerd wetenschappelijk bewijs en erkende klinische richtlijnen. Het project bestaat uit het identificeren van gepersonaliseerde preventiesignalen, gericht aan de leden en/of hun zorgverleners, en bestrijkt alle fasen van preventie (van primaire tot quaternaire preventie).
Voor de realisatie van dit uitdagend project brengen we een nieuw dynamisch en autonoom team in plaats. Hiervoor zoeken we ondernemende collega’s vol energie en passie. Het platform voor de EBP zal AWS zijn en wij zoeken een Engineer om de verschillende applicatiecomponenten te bouwen.

Taken & Verantwoordelijkheden

• Opsporen en begrijpen van business requirements en deze vertalen naar pragmatische, onderhoudbare applicaties.
• Backend-logica coderen.
• Ontwikkelen van schermen en user interfaces.
• Kwaliteit bewaken binnen het volledige ontwikkelproces.
• Reduceren van operationele en architecturale kosten.
• Leveren van bouwblokken voor Evidence Based Prevention.
• Werken als DevOps engineer met een sterke focus op software‑vakmanschap.
• Autonoom bijdragen aan het bouwen van applicatie‑componenten in een AWS‑omgeving.

Profiel

• Brede en diepe kennis als senior software engineer.
• Ervaring als DevOps engineer die actief en graag codeert.
• Architecturale ervaring.
• Rijk aanbod aan best practices en de kennis wanneer welke tool toe te passen.
• Certificaties zoals AWS Associate Developer zijn een plus.
• Je kan elke taal en elk framework gebruiken; de technologieën die wij gebruiken zijn Typescript, Python & AWS.
• Ervaring met Angular voor front‑end ontwikkeling.
• Kwaliteitsgericht werken (TDD).
• Passie voor continuous improvement.
• Ervaring met technologieën zoals: Aurora, DynamoDB, Athena, Apache Parquet, AirFlow, ETL en big data processing.
• Ervaring met projecten waar performantie en grote transactievolumes key zijn.
• Flexibel, communicatief sterk en vakbekwaam.
• Sterk analytisch en probleemoplossend vermogen.
• Enthousiast, creatief, initiatiefrijk en zowel zelfstandig als een teamplayer.
• Vlotte kennis van Nederlands of Frans en gesprekken kunnen voeren in beide landstalen.
• Engels is noodzakelijk voor samenwerking met partners.
• Je spreekt zowel de taal van business als die van IT‑collega’s.
• Ervaring met Agile/SCRUM is een troef.
• Werken in een hybride omgeving, 3 tot 4 dagen van thuis uit met grote flexibiliteit.

The Evidence Based Prevention (EBP) project aims to strengthen health prevention by strictly relying on validated scientific evidence and recognized clinical guidelines. The project involves identifying personalized prevention signals, aimed at members and/or their healthcare providers, and covers all stages of prevention (from primary to quaternary prevention).
To realize this ambitious project, we are assembling a new dynamic and autonomous team. For this, we are looking for entrepreneurial colleagues full of energy and passion. The platform for EBP will be AWS, and we are looking for an Engineer to build the various application components.
Tasks & Responsibilities

• Detect and understand business requirements and translate them into pragmatic, maintainable applications.
• Develop backend logic.
• Develop screens and user interfaces.
• Ensure quality throughout the entire development process.
• Reduce operational and architectural costs.
• Deliver building blocks for Evidence Based Prevention.
• Work as a DevOps engineer with a strong focus on software craftsmanship.
• Contribute autonomously to building application components in an AWS environment.

Profile

• Broad and deep knowledge as a senior software engineer.
• Experience as a DevOps engineer who actively and enthusiastically codes.
• Architectural experience.
• A rich set of best practices and the ability to know which tool to use when.
• Certifications such as AWS Associate Developer are a plus.
• You can use any language or framework; the technologies we use are Typescript, Python & AWS.
• Experience with Angular for front‑end development.
• Quality‑oriented working style (TDD).
• Passion for continuous improvement.
