Our client is looking for an IT Program Manager

Description

The objective of the mission is to ensure, for the business, a coherent, transversal and controlled program management of digital programs grouping several projects, by ensuring an integrated vision, an aligned planning and consolidated communication, in order to maximize business value and reduce the risks linked to silo approaches.

Main responsibilities

Overall program steering

  • Define the governance structure (committees, reporting, milestones, dependencies).
  • Develop and maintain the global roadmap (macro planning, consolidated budget).
  • Ensure consistency between the various projects and the strategic framework.

Monitoring of risks, costs and performance

  • Identify and monitor risks and inter‑project dependencies.
  • Consolidate budgets, indicators and progress statuses.
  • Guarantee compliance with deadlines and financial control.

Coordination of stakeholders

  • Facilitate collaboration between the business and delivery teams.
  • Ensure upward (management) and downward (project teams) communication.
  • Support decision‑making through clear and concise reporting.

Change management

  • Support the business in change.
  • Coordinate communication actions.

Continuous improvement and capitalization

  • Propose optimizations for governance processes.
  • Formalize best practices and lessons learned from the program.

Technical skills

  • Management of digital programs composed of multiple highly interdependent projects, mastering interactions, dependencies and cross‑impacts. (L3: at least 5 years of experience)
  • Setup, facilitation and steering of digital program governance, including decision‑making and monitoring bodies. (L3: at least 5 years of experience)
  • Consolidated budget management at digital program level, guaranteeing consistency between project budgets, arbitration and priorities. (L3: at least 5 years of experience)
  • Experience in convergence towards common digital solutions from heterogeneous business models. (L2: at least 2 years of experience)
  • Experience in large‑scale transversal digital programs involving multiple stakeholders and diverse objectives. (L2: at least 2 years of experience)
  • Experience in exchanges with specialized IT teams. (L3: at least 5 years of experience)
  • Experience in building a digital program vision (Why/What/How/When/Who) in a multi‑department context. (L3: at least 5 years of experience)
  • Experience in the prioritization and sequencing of milestones. (L3: at least 5 years of experience)
  • Full command of French or Dutch. Professional command of the second national language as well as English. (L2: at least 2 years of experience)

Soft skills

  • The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of the company, the IT world and understand the challenges of the requested function. They must also understand the company's mission and core activities.
  • The candidate must demonstrate that they are able to integrate into the company teams, especially through the values of kindness, courage, positivity and reliability.
  • The candidate must demonstrate skills inherent to the requested function and within the ICT department, namely presentation skills, a professional attitude, correctness and respect toward management, clear and effective communication, and a responsible commitment for the duration of the contract.
