Our client is looking for a Senior Business & Governance Analyst
Context
During 2025, the IT department defined the target state based on current and future needs of the organization. This resulted in a list of 130 gaps when compared to the as-is situation. These gaps range from people & organizational topics to technical IT topics.
The purpose
- Regularly update the target state and gaps as result of a.o. audits, business plan, tariff plan, regulatory changes, etc.
- Define roadmap to close the gaps, considering a.o. value, costs, urgency.
- Launch & deliver implementation initiatives.
- Guarantee consistency between Elite & external initiatives (manage dependencies).
- As Governance Analyst within Elite, you will work on several implementation initiatives under the Elite umbrella.
Service description:
The service includes the following tasks within the implementation initiatives (non-exhaustive list):
- Clarify & detail the scope of the gaps & implementation initiative,
- Elicit needs / requirements from stakeholders.
- Align scope between gaps and implementation initiatives: is a gap entirely covered by the existing initiatives? Are there overlaps in scope between initiatives?
- Define the governances:
- Define guidelines, design business processes, elaborate roles & responsibilities.
- Also the processes assure that the governances are applied are in scope.
- Implement the governances:
- Get buy-in from the involved stakeholders.
- Provide trainings & prepare training material.
- Set-up additional governance bodies / collaboration entities (guild, Center of Excellence, etc.) if needed.
- Provide on-the-job support if needed.
Requirements:
- You are able to speak, read and write fluently English and French or Dutch.
- You have a master’s degree in a technical or economic field, or equivalent experience.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant experience with organizational design, Business (Process) Analysis, business architecture or similar activities.
- You can communicate assertively and effectively with many different stakeholders. You are able to build a “trusted” relationship with them.
- You are client oriented and are empathic towards their needs.
- You have strong problem-solving skills. You are able to find consensus and to convince the different stakeholders.
- You have a highly analytical and critical mindset.
- You have an affinity with IT at large – infrastructure, applications, communication, IoT, etc. – and are interested in the electricity sector.
- You are sufficiently mature to manage your own activities, to work independently
