Our client is looking for an ENTERPRISE SECURITY ARCHITECT

Context :

For the company, cybersecurity is a key topic and linked with the recent worldwide changes, we have a lot of initiatives to cope with the growing threats. To ensure that the measures serve their purpose, while keeping in mind the user experience, we
need an Enterprise Security Architect to translate the high level security measures in practical implementations and guidelines.

Function Description :

As an Enterprise Security Architect, you are responsible for defining and governing the company's overarching security architecture. You ensure that security capabilities, standards, and technologies form a coherent and future-proof security posture across the entire IT landscape—covering applications, infrastructure, cloud, data, and identity. You collaborate closely with the ICT Security Office, enterprise architects, domain architects, and technical architects to translate business and regulatory requirements into strategic security solutions and long-term roadmaps.
Drawing on your previous experience, you will strengthen the company's ability to rely on secure principles and architectures across all applications.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop, maintain, and evolve company Security Architecture.
  • Define and maintain security reference architectures, principles, and blueprints in line with other company architectural strategies, like the Data or Cloud strategy.
  • Ensure secure-by-design principles are considered within new developments.
  • Help us grow in the use of Zero Trust principles
  • Document and communicate security architecture standards, helping teams adopt coherent security principles.
  • Shape the long-term security capability and technology roadmap.
  • Align security practices with regulatory frameworks such as NIS2, ISO 27001, GDPR.
  • Provide guidance for audit and compliance activities.
  • Review existing architecture and propose improvements to further mature our IT Resilience.
  • Evaluate and select enterprise-level security platforms (IAM, PAM, SIEM/SOAR, CSPM, EDR, WAF, DLP, etc.).
  • Help define and follow up PoCs and pilot programs for emerging security technologies.
  • Working closely together with other architects to align all aspects of architecture

Technical Skills :

  • A master's degree (civil engineering, commercial engineering or any scientific orientation).
  • 5+ years of experience in security architecture.
  • Broad expertise across multiple security domains:
    • Cloud security (Azure)
    • IAM/PAM
    • Network and infrastructure security
    • Application & API Security
    • Container security
    • Data protection and encryption
    • Security monitoring (SIEM, SOAR)
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience defining secure architectures for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks (NIS2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Certifications such as TOGAF, SABSA, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, ITIL, AWS/Azure or Enterprise Architecture frameworks are  strong assets.
  • Familiarity with the utility/energy sector is a plus (e.g., asset management, metering, field operations).
  • Exposure to enterprise architecture tools (e.g. Sparx Enterprise Architect).
  • Experiences in IT/OT environments
  • Multilingual capabilities (FR/NL/EN) for crossfunctional collaboration.
