Our client is looking for an Agile Coach

About the organisation

Join an international energy infrastructure group at the forefront of the energy transition. Headquartered in Belgium and active across Europe, the Middle East, and South America, the organisation operates extensive gas transmission networks, storage facilities, and LNG terminals.

With a strong commitment to carbon neutrality, the organisation is actively shaping the future of energy by evolving its infrastructure to support hydrogen, biomethane, CO₂, and other low-carbon energy carriers.

Context

Driven by the energy transition and evolving market demands, the Digital department is undergoing a fundamental shift in how it delivers value. Following a successful pilot in 2025, the organisation is scaling toward a product-centric operating model within its Gas Flow Management domain.

This transformation aims to improve prioritisation, enhance collaboration with business stakeholders, streamline value delivery, and better manage interdependencies across teams. To support this shift, strong coaching and facilitation are required to enable teams and new roles to succeed in this evolving environment.

Role Overview

To support this transformation, we are looking for an experienced Agile Coach with a strong background in scaled agile environments (preferably LeSS).

Working closely with Agile facilitators, you will guide teams and leaders in adopting new ways of working, fostering collaboration, and delivering value efficiently within a product-centric organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Coaching & Scrum Master Role
Act as Scrum Master for one product team, enabling them to become self-managing, high-performing, and focused on delivering customer value.

  • Mentoring Scrum Masters
Support and mentor Scrum Masters in their development, helping them grow from facilitators into true servant-leaders capable of driving team and organisational change.

  • Coaching Product Owners
Guide Product Owners in maximising value delivery by strengthening product vision, stakeholder engagement, and empirical planning practices.

  • Driving Team Maturity
Help teams progress from forming to performing by fostering autonomy, accountability, and effective collaboration, while supporting conflict resolution and ownership.

  • Systemic Improvement
Identify organisational impediments (e.g. governance, funding models, silos) and influence stakeholders to implement structural improvements that enhance flow and delivery.

Skills & Expertise

  • 10+ years of experience in Agile environments, including at least 5 years as an Enterprise or Lead Agile Coach
  • Strong practical experience with LeSS (Large-Scale Scrum) and understanding of organisational design in scaled environments
  • Hands-on coaching mindset with a focus on ownership, autonomy, and continuous improvement
  • Proven experience mentoring Scrum Masters and coaching product teams in a software delivery context
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Pragmatic, flexible, and able to adapt Agile practices to specific organisational contexts
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills
