Our client, a key player in the Belgian energy sector, is looking for a Business & Project Analyst – Intelligent Automation & AI.

In this role, the consultant will operate at the intersection of Business, IT, automation and artificial intelligence. The main objective is to support business teams in identifying, analysing and implementing AI and automation initiatives that improve efficiency and help the organisation navigate an increasingly complex operational environment.
The consultant will contribute to digital transformation initiatives within the core business and will help translate business needs into clear requirements for implementation teams.
Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for:
- Supporting the business in leveraging new technologies to increase efficiency.
- Identifying and analysing business needs related to AI and automation.
- Translating business expectations into clear requirements for implementation teams.
- Assessing the value, feasibility and impact of AI and automation use cases.
- Acting as a spokesperson and ambassador for AI and automation within the organisation.
- Applying AI and automation knowledge within a regulated energy / TSO environment.
- Coordinating the implementation of new technologies in cross-functional projects.
- Supporting and training business users to ensure optimal use of tools and solutions.
- Contributing to the digital transformation of the organisation’s core business.
Profile
The ideal candidate is a senior Business / Project Analyst with strong knowledge of AI, intelligent automation and project management.
Required experience and skills:
- At least 9 years of relevant experience in business analysis, project analysis, project management or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of the different types of AI and automation technologies available on the market.
- Initial professional experience with the implementation of AI within a large organisation, preferably in a regulated environment.
- Strong project management knowledge.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and practical solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Able to work independently, take initiative and act in a solution-oriented way.
- Customer-focused, flexible, critical-minded and a true team player.
Education and Languages
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Commercial Engineering, a Master’s degree in Science, or equivalent by experience.
- Excellent command of Dutch and/or French.
- Good command of English.
