Our client is looking for a Training Coordinator

Role Purpose

The Training Coordinator supports the Project team by coordinating all training preparation and rollout readiness activities related to the Program within the company.
The role is responsible for organizing, planning, and coordinating training activities linked to pilot and rollout waves, ensuring that trainers, store representatives, operational teams, and business stakeholders are prepared ahead of deployment activities.
A key responsibility of the role is coordinating “train-the-trainer” sessions at various locations prior to rollout waves, including scheduling, participant coordination, communication, logistics, attendance tracking, and readiness follow-up.
The Training Coordinator works closely with the Project Manager, Business Lead, operational stakeholders, and training participants to ensure that training activities are properly planned, communicated, and executed.
The role also works closely with the Communications Officer to ensure alignment between training planning, rollout readiness activities, and stakeholder communication.

This includes coordination around:

  • Training schedules and calendars
  • Training announcements and communication
  • Rollout readiness updates
  • Stakeholder communication related to training participation
  • Store and operational readiness communication
  • Follow-up communication after training sessions
  • Communication of training risks, gaps, and readiness status

The role requires a proactive and organized individual who can work independently, coordinate across multiple stakeholder groups, and actively identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities related to training readiness.

The role is expected to work on-site at the HQ a minimum of 1–2 days per week and may require occasional travel to training or rollout locations depending on project planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all training preparation activities linked to the rollout waves
  • Plan and organize train-the-trainer sessions across multiple locations
  • Maintain rollout training schedules and training calendars
  • Coordinate participant invitations, confirmations, attendance tracking, and follow-up
  • Coordinate training logistics including meeting rooms, facilities, equipment, and training materials
  • Ensure training material distribution is completed ahead of scheduled sessions
  • Coordinate with Business, IT, operational, and store stakeholders regarding training readiness
  • Work closely with the Communications Officer to align communication and training activities
  • Track training completion and readiness status across rollout waves
  • Escalate training risks, gaps, or readiness concerns to the Project Manager and Business Lead
  • Support rollout readiness and operational preparation activities
  • Maintain training trackers, schedules, and readiness overviews
  • Attend relevant rollout and operational readiness meetings where required

Experience

Required Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in training coordination, project coordination, rollout coordination, or operational readiness activities
  • Experience coordinating workshops, training sessions, or multi-stakeholder operational activities
  • Experience supporting large transformation, retail, or IT delivery programs
  • Experience managing schedules, logistics, participant coordination, and readiness tracking
  • Experience coordinating across Business and IT stakeholder groups

Preferred Experience

  • Experience within retail or store operations environments
  • Experience supporting multi-site rollout or deployment activities
  • Experience working in multilingual stakeholder environments
  • Experience working within large enterprise or transformation programs
