The Digital Business Solutions (DBS) department supports all the company's “business” activities. It enables them to run efficiently and grow.
It ensures that the company is equipped with autonomous IT, adapting to the evolution of its needs and technologies.
The DBS department is structured into several service units. One of them, the “IT Service Management, Transition & ERP” unit, manages
the processes and applications that support the HR, Finance, Purchasing, Logistics, and Communication departments.
Within this unit, the ERP team helps the HR, Finance, Logistics, and Purchasing departments (our internal clients) to optimize their
working methods and to improve the user experience through the modification of existing applications or the development of new solutions.
The ERP team is composed by around fifteen professionals (project managers, functional analysts and developers).
The team is looking for a Senior ABAP Developer who will report directly to the ERP Team Manager.
Responsabilités
As a Senior ABAP Developer:
- You collaborate with the Business Analyst and the architects to define the solution.
- You write technical specifications based on the functional specifications.
- You estimate the workload and cost of changes.
- You assess the technical impacts of changes on the existing system.
- You make the necessary adaptations or developments based on the established specifications.
- You ensure service continuity and good maintainability of the solution.
- You update the reference documentation.
- You develop and execute unit test plans.
- You adhere to the company methods, standards, and procedures.
Your skills
- You have at least 10 years of experience as an ABAP developer (ABAP, ABAP OO).
- You have at least 5 years of experience with SAP FIORI.
- You have a huge experience with SAP Workflows.
- You have previously worked on SAP SD, EWM, MM, FI, CO, PM modules.
- You have experience with SAP Web Dynpro.
- You have experience with interface middleware.
- You have experience with Web Services.
- You have experience with Smartforms/Adobe Forms.
- You have experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- You are fluent in minimum one of the two national languages (Dutch/French) and a passive knowledge of the other one.
- You demonstrate good organization and great precision in work.
- You show efficiency and flexibility in task execution.
- You exhibit listening skills, analytical ability, synthesis, customer orientation, and result orientation.
- You have excellent writing and communication skills.
- An experience in the energy sector is a plus.
