Service Description

As a Process Analyst within the digital transformation program, you play a key role in supporting the organization's objectives related to efficiency improvement, quality enhancement, energy transition, renewable energy integration, and nuclear phase-out.

To achieve these ambitions, extensive digitalization of business activities and workforce support is required. Additionally, process harmonization between the Belgian organization and its German sister company is an important objective.

The Process Analyst is responsible for documenting current business processes (BPMN 2.0) and proposing process improvements in close collaboration with all stakeholders.

You will work closely with a team of Business Analysts, focusing specifically on process documentation and analysis. Business Analysts will further elaborate the specifications required to implement the improved processes, potentially supported by IT tools and systems.

This dedicated Process Analyst role has been created to ensure sufficient focus on process analysis activities while maintaining strong collaboration within the broader team.

The organization is looking for a Process Analyst to analyze and model business processes in Sparx Enterprise Architect using BPMN 2.0 methodology. The role also includes contributing to the further development of the process modeling methodology and coaching and supporting other Business Analysts.

Responsibilities

  • Model business processes and support the business in redesigning their processes.
  • Challenge business stakeholders regarding their needs and target processes.
  • Align and validate as-is and to-be processes to ensure business ownership and acceptance.
  • Harmonize business processes across different departments and between the Belgian organization and its German sister company.
  • Contribute to the development of the process modeling methodology.
  • Support the business in adopting new processes during post-implementation activities.
  • Play an active role in change management, including the creation of training materials and delivery of end-user training, following the existing change management methodology and toolkit.

Requirements

Education

  • Master's degree in a technical or economic field, or equivalent through experience.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Process Analyst.
  • Proven experience identifying business needs and documenting as-is and to-be business processes.
  • Experience with BPMN 2.0 process modeling.
  • Experience with UML.
  • Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect.
  • Experience with Jira and Azure DevOps is considered a plus.
  • Experience within the electricity sector is considered an asset.

Languages

  • Good command of English (reading and writing).
  • Very good command of either Dutch or French (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Good command of the second national language (speaking, reading, and writing).

Employment Information

Work Schedule: Full-time

On-site Presence: Physical presence on-site is required 2 days per week.
