Implementation Management Service

Service description: The client is part of the 1st wave of the implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the company published its first CSRD-compliant report in March 2025. In 2026 the Group Sustainability reporting team is focusing on improving and stabilizing the reporting processes, governance and the data digitalization. You will be part of a cross functional Group sustainability reporting team and you will work closely with stakeholders from various business departments from Belgium and Germany (Finance, Controlling, HR, Sustainability, Infrastructure, Asset Management, IT) and with the external auditors. You will provide support along three key streams and you will be reporting to: The Group Social Sustainability reporting officer for stream 1 The Group Sustainability reporting manager for stream 2 and 3

Workstreams and responsibilities

Lead the preparation for the governance-related matters for the 2026 audit – 35%

  • You will have a Group transversal role, acting as a connector across the two main entities of Group
  • End to end preparation of the two governance-related chapters from the 2026 Sustainability Statements of Group 
  • Support the Group-wide implementation of a due diligence process
  • Stakeholder engagement to ensure the 2026 data collection for 2-3 governance related datapoints that are collected for the Sustainability Statements
  • Support in documenting the existing processes for governance over human rights
  • Coordinate the CSRD audit processes with internal stakeholders for the governance chapters

Support in the implementation of the General requirements (CSRD) – 30%

  • Provide support in preparing the disclosures for General/ESRS2 for the Sustainability statements 2026
  • Provide support in operational aspects for the Double Materiality analysis
  • Stakeholders engagement across the Group to ensure alignment and accuracy of the reported information

Drive the execution of a data and policies catalog for the website – 35%

  • Lead and own the mission of ensuring that an online sustainability catalog is in place according to the planning
  • Implement the decisions taken by the Group sustainability reporting and the Communication teams for the deliverable
  • Collaborative work with the departments involved: Communication, Digital, Strategy, Sustainability, Compliance

Requirements

What kind of profile we are searching for:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience
  • Direct experience and knowledge of the ESRS/CSRD and with the Double Materiality Assessment according to the ESRS/CSRD
  • Experience with other ESG reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD is a plus
  • Previous experience with external (ESG or financial) assurance (experience in a consultancy company is preferred)
  • You have completed a master degree, preferably in the fields of finance, environmental science, engineering, economics, sustainability management or similar
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to process data, analyze information, think critically
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management/time management skills to handle reporting requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex sustainability information effectively
  • You are reliable, well organised, analytical and result driven with high standards of ethics and professionalism
  • Collaborative team player, but also with high levels of autonomy and accountability for your own work
  • A genuine passion for sustainability and a desire to drive positive change

Language skills: Fluent level of Dutch and English (mandatory), good level French is required.
