Our client is looking for a Software Engineer / Technology Architect for Cross-Border BU to support in strategic architecture initiatives across our client's Landmark Global business. This role will focus on designing and delivering a modern, composable digital platform and services ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in software engineering, composable architecture, artificial intelligence, SDLC, transport and e-commerce with the ability to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and future-proof technical solutions, and deliver them.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture

• Define scalable, secure, and modular reference architectures for logistics, transport, and digital services.
• Lead the definition of architecture for ecommerce integrations and API digital services.

Platform Development & Guidance

• Create and review technical designs for coherence, scalability, and resilience across domains.
• Guide the adoption of microservices and product-centric architecture models.

Collaboration & Governance

• Work closely with product owners, developers, and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical architectures.
• Collaborate with suppliers and remote teams to ensure cross-functional alignment and delivery.
• Contribute to architecture governance and quality enablement across teams.

Innovation and Best Practices

• Stay updated on advancements in cloud-native technologies, data platforms, and ecommerce ecosystems.
• Ensure compliance with data security standards and establish governance practices for APIs and schemas.
• Promote architectural best practices across teams and domains.

Qualifications

Experience

• 15+ years in software engineering and architecture, with experience across logistics, transport, or ecommerce domains.
• Proven experience designing and implementing microservices architectures (Java, PHP, Python), and API ecosystems.
• Exposure to EDA principles and technologies (Kafka, Avro, schema registry) is a plus.
• Experience with AWS (Lambda, S3, Bedrock).
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and secure software development lifecycles, especially in the context of AI-enabled software development (harness engineering).

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of product organization models and domain-driven design.
• Experience with API-driven architectures (RESTful APIs, webhooks, API gateways).
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS/EKS).

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
