Objective
The purpose of this role is to own the end-to-end technical development and evolution of the organisation’s Dynamics 365 platform and related Microsoft technologies, ensuring reliable, scalable and business-driven solutions.
Context
Dynamics 365 is at the heart of how the organisation operates. Customer Service, Sales and Customer Insights all run on the platform and are connected through a custom customer portal and Azure integrations.
The organisation works with worldwide standards supporting products and data across sectors such as retail, healthcare, DIY and logistics.
This is a broad, deeply technical role for a medior or senior developer who wants to own the outcome instead of only one corner of the solution.

Technical ownership of the Microsoft business application landscape, including:
- Dynamics 365
- Power Platform
- Azure integrations
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
- Take ownership of the technical build of the Dynamics 365 environment from end to end, with real autonomy and clear technical responsibility.
- Customise and extend Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Sales and Customer Insights, including Dataverse, model-driven applications and Dataverse plugins.
- Deliver clean plugins, develop and extend a solid ASP.NET Core API, and create reliable event-driven Azure integrations for a platform on which the entire organisation depends.
- Work with the Solution Architect, who sets the direction, leads the functional analysis and reviews the work, while the developer owns the technical outcome.
- Feed implementation insights back into the design and contribute to a robust, maintainable and future-ready Microsoft platform.
- Build PCF and React controls, as well as client-side scripting using JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Automate processes using Power Automate cloud flows.
- Build Azure integrations using Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus for event-driven messaging.
- Manage delivery through Power Platform Application Lifecycle Management, solution management with the Power Platform CLI –
pac– and Azure DevOps CI/CD. - Safeguard code quality through unit and integration testing and actively participate in code reviews.

- Where relevant, external technology partners or consultants involved in the Microsoft platform ecosystem.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Education and Professional Experience
- Medior or senior hands-on experience as a Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Developer.
- Minimum five years of experience in Microsoft business application development.
- Consultant or freelance mindset, with the ability to work autonomously while aligning constructively with the Solution Architect and the wider team.
Language Skills
- Dutch: Working language.
- English: Used for technical work, documentation and development-related communication.
