Description
As a Functional Analyst / Scriptura (Design & Compose) System Engineer, you combine business analysis with technical application ownership. You act as the bridge between business stakeholders, vendors and IT teams while ensuring the stability, performance and continuous evolution of the Design & Compose platform and its reporting solutions.
The platform is used to generate and publish regulatory, legal and client reporting documents and is a key component within the Asset Management reporting landscape.
Your responsibilities
- Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into functional designs and user stories.
- Own and support the Scriptura (Design & Compose) platform and related reporting processes.
- Troubleshoot incidents, production issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Manage application configurations, deployments, upgrades and release activities.
- Analyse and optimize document generation flows, data integrations and publishing processes.
- Work with XML, XSLT, SQL, APIs and system integrations.
- Coordinate with vendors, infrastructure teams and business stakeholders.
- Monitor platform stability, security, capacity and operational risks.
- Contribute to Agile delivery, testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your profile
- Experience as Functional Analyst, System Engineer, Application Engineer or Technical Application Manager.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with application support, incident management and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of XML, XSLT, SQL, APIs and integration technologies.
- Experience with document generation, customer communications management (CCM), reporting platforms or Design & Compose solutions is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum ways of working.
- Strong communication skills and ability to bridge business and IT.
As a senior Functional Analyst with proven experience in bank and insurance, you have over 5 years of experience in managing the functional design of information systems :
- You create the concept and manage the planning for preliminary analysis and design phase;
- You perform the functional analysis of information systems and draw up the functional design after the prestudy;
- You support changes and enhancements from development through production;
- You recommend and implement system enhancements;
- You develop new program requirements and specifications to support specific customer needs;
- You support system upgrades and resolve problems with current systems;
- You analyse service requests to determine feasibility, technological changes, resource requirements and project time estimates.
